Finance Minister apologises to the Spanish Royal Household

Spanish Finance Minister Cristobal Montoro has had to apologize to the Spanish Royal Household for a tax report blunder. He has admitted that an administrative error attributed the sale of 13 properties worth €1.4million to Princess Cristina in 2005 and 2006. However, it has since been acknowledged that the properties in question were never registered to the king’s daughter, who is embroiled in a judicial investigation into alleged misappropriation of public funds and money-laundering on the part of her husband, the Duke of Palma.
