Benefits of winter sunshine

THE Scandinavian market is one of the most important for winter tourism in Almuñecar according to data from the Tourist Office. For some years there have been various promotions by private hotels and public tourism bodies, local, provincial and regional.

These campaigns have joined the internet portal www.almuñecar.se that has been created by Bosse and Marita Essen and is being presented at one of the most important tourism fairs in the Swedish city of Malmo.

For 20 years the Seniopr Fair has promoted Almuñecar to the elderly who need to have the benefits of light and sunshine, especially for Vitamin D, during the winter months, said Bosse Essen.
