THE La Nucia craft market will soon be saying goodbye for the summer. The market started last February and has been held each Sunday in the square in front of La Nucia’s town hall.
There will now be a break from the end of June. All the products on sale were made by the stallholders themselves and the public’s reaction has been very positive, said the organisers, Amata, specialists in craft markets throughout the Valencian Community.
Stallholders are already making plans to continue after the summer with new ideas and more stalls. Meanwhile, although the market has only two more Sundays to run, there will be three new stalls selling artwork, jewellery and handcrafted boxes.
And, as happens most weeks, there is likely to be some type of street entertainment, too.
