Reaching out for charity in Torrevieja

THE Marina Bar Torreta 2 Torrevieja held another charity event, this time in aid of ‘Reach Out’ the charity for the poor and homeless in the Torrevieja area.

A fashion show by Style Fashions, various stalls, raffle and tombola raised €210 for the charity which included a very kind donation of €50 from George and Chris who were amongst the many people attending the event. Rita and Dave, owners of the bar, as usual gave their full support and help to this event.

‘Reach Out’ volunteers David and Lorraine Whitney, and Bob and Pauline Lane organised and ran the tombola and the raffle of a gigantic fluffy rabbit which overlooked the proceedings.

The afternoon was a success and it is hoped similar events will be in the near future.
