ALFAZ DEL PI: Interviews for nursing posts.
TWO Alfasinos will be soon be setting off for Norway. Interviewers from the Stavanger Universitessykehus teaching hospital have visited Alfaz to engage two nurses.
Both will have completed an intensive Norwegian course in the town. Students on the course “eat, think, breathe and argue” in the language 24 hours a day. By the end of the month-long course they will know enough basic Norwegian to be able to communicate in a work environment, explained course coordinator Siri Lund.
Although only two posts are available in the first round of interviews “there are more firms and more jobs,” Lund said. “Sooner or later all the students who completed the course will find a place in Norway,” she predicted.
