Memebers of the Mojacar Taekwondo Club
STUDENTS of the Taekwondo Mojacar Club proved they were ready to move up a grade.
They had to show their technical knowledge in front of a panel of black belt instructors (Mr Serge Dewrée, Ms Ruby Miles-Kirby and Mr Ossian Guerrero Green) who judged them on their physical and mental strength, their knowledge of Korean words and, most of all, their ability to perform patterns of all kind under stress during a two hours grading session.
In the Rainbow category, Best Student Trophy was granted to Sophia Friend and a special star medal was awarded for continuous effort to Joshua Lee and Bobbi Booth-Roberts.
Joe Noble was promoted to the Juniors’class.
In the Junior-Adult category, in view of the quality of the fights and the broad knowledge displayed, Best Student Trophy was granted to Havana Thompson (Junior) and to Jodie Escott Dewrée (Adult) and a special medal was awarded to Osaia Reding Commaille, Harry Booth-Roberts, Laima Diaz Vepstas and Laura Linschoten.
The club trains at Indigo Gym on Mojacar Playa. For more information and lesson times, call Serge on 646 844 708 or send an email to tkdspain@gmail.com. Visit us at www.tkdspain.webs.com
