Benhavis September 2012
BENAHAVIS Environmental Department has issued a notice to remind people of the importance of compliance with fire prevention safety measures.
These are obligatory measures that must be followed now that the high risk fire season between June 1 and October 15 is approaching.
The Andalucian law states that owners of plots are responsible for maintaining them in safe conditions.
Additionally, owners, associations, urban entities, firms, urbanisations, campsites and other facilities located in risk areas must have a fire prevention plan.
Non-compliance could result in fines of up to €3,000.
