ALCUDIA POLICE: They joined up with officers from other forces for operation.
A JOINT operation by police in Pollenca, Alcudia, Sa Pobla, Muro and Santa Margalida has been carried out.
The operation included 92 control points and 663 vehicles have been inspected. The operation was to crack down on farming items being stolen in these areas.
The inspections also included checks on cars having a valid ITV and checking on the use of seatbelts and properly installed child seats.
Overall 12 vehicles or their occupants have been sanctioned and one person was found to be driving whilst disqualified.
