The Daily Telegraph recommends Almeria to its readers
A LEADING British newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, has recommended Almeria to its readers.
The paper, as part of a tourist guide supplement, has reminded readers that the region is “The Birthplace of the Spaghetti Western” and a special favourite of actors and directors such as Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford and Peter O’Toole.
It goes on to state that other areas such as the gypsum caves and the Cabo de Gata’s beaches were also discovered years ago by producers and directors of the film industry.
The article describes Almeria as a coastal city guarded by the majestic Alcazaba, mentions other places of interest such as the Cathedral, and recommends the modern shops and cuisine of the city.
