POT RAID: 116 Marijuana plants were seized
MORE than 50 officers and a helicopter of the Narcotic Group of the National Police have seized 116 marijuana plants.
The raid of seven houses as part of ‘Operation Labyrinth’ took place in La Soledat (Palma).
It resulted in the arrest of 11 men and one woman aged between 20 and 31 years old.
With the marijuana plants they also recovered three kilos of marijuana ready to sell and small amounts of cocaine, heroin, hashish and four precision measuring scales along with four equally split sums of money.
The operation was launched after complaints by residents about the increased consumption of drugs in the area and the amount of visitors to the seven houses.
