SEMANA SANTA: Some of the handmade figures of the Archidona Easter processions
ARCHIDONA will hold an exhibition during Easter of miniature figures.
The figures represent the different sections of the traditional Holy Week in the town and have been hand made by local resident, Manuel Liceras-Pozo.
There are 30 figures in the exhibition showing the penitents and characters that always take part in the processions.
They are made from paper, wood, tin and silver, and according to their creator took between 25 and 30 hours each to make, taking in his two passions of Semana Santa and handicraft.
The figures will be on show until Easter Sunday, March 31, in the Sala de Exposiciones of the town hall.
