Iberia workers and management reach agreement

Today the management of Iberia and the unions representing the workers have accepted the proposals put forward by the mediator, Gregorio Tudela.

The new agreement will see 700 less workers dismissed under the voluntary dismissal plan (ERE) than was previously suggested.

With the signing of this agreement it is assumed that the five remaining days of strike action will not now go ahead official sources stated. They were planned for next week from Monday 18 to Friday 22.
