I READ the article about Ryanair (Street talk, issue 1437). My wife and I travel from Alicante to Manchester six or seven times a year.
Ryanair is very often the cheapest, so we have plenty of experience, all positive, of travelling with them. We never choose any extras and book with a euro debit card north and a sterling debit card south, thus incurring no card charges.
The answer for those who want more is to pay Ryanair for the extras they offer, or to use a different carrier.
All Ryanair’s passengers are volunteers, and we, for two, are very satisfied with their price and service.
