GETTING BIGGER: Alhaurin de la Torre now 12th biggest town in Malaga
THE population of Alhaurin de la Torre is now more than 38,000, making it the 12th largest town in Malaga province.
Since 2001, the population has increased by 40 per cent.
Meanwhile, foreign residents who are registered as residents in the town are asked to confirm that it is still their place of residence.
