Widow´s fears

A FRIEND widowed just two weeks ago has had a compressor stolen from outside her country finca.
While she does not know if this is because there is no longer a man around, certainly it has unnerved her to know that someone has been in the vicinity uninvited.
I have tried to calm her a little by pointing out that thefts are all too common in the present tough times, but it really is a shame that so many appear to want to solve their challenges by simply stealing from others.
