Injured climber taken to hospital
A MAN, 30, was rescued near the reservoir in El Chorro, Alora, after falling and breaking his ankle.
He was climbing with a friend when he fell from a height of seven metres, hit his ankle and found he was unable to move. His companion called the 112 emergency number and the Mountain Rescue Team was sent to the scene. Firemen, paramedics, Civil Protection volunteers and Local Police also came to his assistance, although his injuries were found to be less serious than initially thought. He was later taken to Malaga University Hospital by ambulance.
