A WOMAN has been saved after fainting and falling onto the rails at an underground train station in Madrid.
The dramatic footage was caught on CCTV at the Marques de Vadillo station. The fifty-two year old woman was rescued by an off-duty police officer who quickly jumped onto the tracks and pulled the woman to safety.
People frantically waved and managed to signal to an incoming train to stop as it approached the station. The woman received immediate medical treatment by an emergency team.
