Paramount Park Will 'Bring Jobs'

Plans for the Paramount Theme Park

THE Alhama Paramount theme park will be developed in a “sustainable way” and will benefit the Murcia region.

That is according to Popular Party (PP) spokesperson Laura Muñoz, who was addressing environmental concerns from the Ecologists in Action group.

Muñoz confirmed that the Paramount park “is important to the region” and believes that it “definitely” will result in “many jobs and economic recovery.”  Muñoz said that the PP has ensured that “every one of the major projects launched are balanced and sustainable to the environment.”

A meeting, entitled, ‘Tourism: Strategic Projects in the Region of Murcia” gave full details of the park and other tourism plans. The Regional PP President, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, defended the possibilities of tourism development in the region that will “bring prosperity to all Murcia and the rest of Spain.”

Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Borrego, congratulated the PP for “giving the tourism industry the importance it deserves”, a sector that has emerged as “one of the strongest pillars of the economy.”

That’s great news. I can’t wait for it to open. They are building one in Kent, England, too and it will create thousands of jobs as well as bringing a tremendous boost to tourism.
