TWO companies are fighting to win the contract for the repair and management of Marbella’s bus station.
One is the current manager Grupo Avanza, operating under the brand Portillo. The other is a joint-venture involving Exclusive Advertising Inc, a Canadian company managing the Toronto metropolitan railway service, and local firm Marbella Architects Estudio.
The contract was put out to tender in May 2012. Marbella council expected the work to be finished in the first half of this year.
