A CROW that launched a series of vicious attacks on people has been banished from Almeria.
The bird lurked on a roof top from where it spotted potential victims to swoop on and savagely peck.
One woman was left bleeding from her wounds after several people had been assaulted by the feathered fiend in Almeria city’s Castell del Rey neighbourhood.
The crow was finally tracked to its lair by two agents from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment.
The capture was difficult due to poor accessibility as well as the crow’s resistance. It seems that the bird had been in captivity before as it had a leather bracelet on one of its legs.
Now the creature has been released in the Sierra de Gador mountain range in the hope it stays clear of people in the future.
