Street collection for the needy

DONATIONS of food and money lined Calle Concepción in Torrevieja as part of a local food drive. The New Generations of the Partido Popular held its traditional food and coins collection for Alimentos Solidarios Torrevieja, which distributed all the food collected to the needy. 

The charity will use the €1,156.12 raised to continue the work it does in the town. Amongst the donations made were 200 litres of milk, 120 packets of biscuits, 50 packets of pasta, 50 litres of oil and 30 packets of sugar.
