A SIXTEEN-MONTH-OLD BABY allegedly kidnapped by her mother’s partner from a farmhouse in rural Almeria was found dead. Police claim the suspect confessed to killing her and disclosed her whereabouts.
Official sources told local Spanish daily IDEAL ALMERIA, the girl has been found in a pond in the Nacimiento Region by the Guardia Civil Special Sub-aquatic Operations Group.
The girl was allegedly abducted from a farmhouse between the Almeria towns of Alboloduy, Nacimiento and Fiñana, on December 20 by 25-year-old Jonathan Moya Gonzalez, who was the mother’s partner, after the couple had an argument.
After an extensive land and aerial search by 100 police officers from different squads, the suspect was arrested on December 27 at the farmhouse where he lived with his parents in the Camino Real district of Abrucena. A second person was also arrested in the operation for allegedly being involved in the crime.
