THE Villa Padierna Palace Hotel in Benahavis, Marbella, was named the World’s Leading Luxury Golf Resort, 2012, during the World Travel Awards.
Held in New Delhi, India, the WTA honour “the most popular travel and tourism brands in the world,” organizers said.
Villa Padierna is currently the only six-star hotel in Andalucia, featuring three 18 hole golf courses. The resort is home to several international golf tournaments, as well as the Jason Floyd Golf Academy.
