THE National Energy Committee (CNE) in Spain has revealed that fuel prices are lower on Mondays.
The CNE has seen that prices drop by at least one per cent on Mondays, the day on which the EU is informed of fuel prices, and then rise again on Tuesday. This mainly affects grade A diesel.
A recent report also shows that 95 octane petrol was more expensive in Spain before taxes were applied in Spain in October that the average for the rest of the euro zone.
However, the prices paid by drivers are lower than the EU average thanks to the fact that taxes are lower here.
