FOLLOWING the stampede in which five people died at the Madrid Arena, Malaga clubs with room for more than 700 people are being inspected.
The Andalucian government is insisting all premises must be checked to make sure they comply with safety regulations and have the correct insurance and paperwork.
Public owned clubs and auditoriums will also have to have plans ready for increased policing at major events.
Inspections will be made throughout the year, the Andalucian government’s officer in Malaga, Jose Luis Ruiz, announced.
