THE Tasting Afternoon hosted by Mohsin Reza from the Indian Ocean in aid of HELP Vega Baja raised €76 for the charity through the sale of raffle tickets.
Forty diners tasted a range of dishes including Jalfrezi with Lemon Rice, Chicken Nawabi with Cheese Naan and Prawn Puri. Many then stayed to take advantage of the special offer on the menu del dia, which included a traditional Sherry Trifle.
Pat Perrin from HELP said, “In these lean financial times, it is with the assistance of establishments such as the Indian Ocean, that the money raised for HELP, enables it to continue its work in the local community. We would like to thank Mohsin, for making this afternoon possible and his staff for all their help and the assistance, ideas and trifle from Susan Reader.”
