EXPORTS of citrus fruits from Almeria have increased by 64 per cent so far this year.
The sale abroad of oranges, lemons, limes and mandarins has brought €19m to a province not normally renowned for such products.
Almeria now ranks as Spain’s eighth province for citric fruits, with Italy being the main export market for oranges and lemons, and France for mandarins.
