SIGN OFF: Illegal advertising hoardings are being removed
ADVERTISING hoardings are being removed in Marbella. Another 180 signs in Las Chapas will soon be taken off the streets following the 112 already removed around the town. Next zone to be targeted will be the Golden Mile.
A town hall inspection last year found 450 hoardings breaking the rules. The slow progress has been blamed on red tape. “It is a difficult process that requires a lot of paperwork,” Public Street Councillor Jose Diaz said.
