MUDDY: Denia rugby team
UPV ‘B’ 7 v 63 Denia RFC
DENIA rugby club are full of confidence aftert a winning trip to Valencia.
They ran in nine tries and slotted six conversions and three penalties as they beat the Universidad Politechnica 63-7. Despite a muddy pitch and wet ball Denia took control of the match early on and never let go. They adapted well to the conditions by kicking deep into the UPV half and then, with some good support play, opened up the UPV defence. Denia capitalised on this and with some excellent passing and support moves Denia ran in the tries.
