Sheikh fails to pay debts

SHEIKH Al Thani, the owner of Malaga Football Club, has failed to pay the debts he has with some of the team members.

He was supposed to have paid of the debt of almost 70 per cent of last year’s purchases, which amounts to almost €10 million, on October 31. Although he has said that he will continue to support the club, it is not known when this situation will be resolved.
