ABOUT 15 pensioners who have lost pension credit entitlements occupied the headquarters of IB-Salut, the Balearics’ health service.
A further 70 refused to leave the health ministry. Following a change in legislation, more than 400 retired former IB-Salut workers have lost the credits, reducing the amount they are entitled to by between 30% and 40%.
The health service estimates it will save €3m per year through the measure.
