POPULAR: Since it opened to the public, many have asked if they can marry at the Torre Nazari
HUERCAL OVERA Town Hall has formulated a new law to regulate civil weddings.Until now the cost was 60 euros and this has now been reduced to 40 euros during the week. Weekend weddings will remain at the original cost. Also those earning the minimum wage or less will be given a 50 per cent discount. Councillor for Tourism Mónica Navarro said: “We don’t want a wedding to be converted into a luxury so we are adapting the taxes to suit the times we are living in.”Residents may now also be married in one of the most famous buildings in the area, the castle, which along with the municipal park will cost 100 euros.
