Joe’s Papal promotion

JOE Tiernan, a native of Ireland and President of the English-speaking Roman Catholic international community of Marbella, has been promoted to the rank of Commander of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem by Pope Benedict XVI.
Holy Mass in English is celebrated at 11am each Sunday in Santa Cristo Church, El Carvio, Marbella.
Joe received a Papal Knighthood in July 2009 for services to the church and he and his wife Mary are members of Aloha Golf Club for over 20 years.
