Net gain for students

PARENTS and students enjoyed a party atmosphere at the opening of the new multi-purpose sports court at Mayfair International Academy last Friday.
The blue opening ribbon was cut by head teacher Karen McGoughie and a demonstration of soft ball tennis was given by ex-world paddle tennis champion, Marcus Ludlow and sports Instructor Craig Westwell.
This was followed by secondary boys’ five-a-side football, secondary girls’ netball and primary street hockey. The afternoon was brought to a close by a concert of song and dance by primary students with music provided by Anna Nankova. ‘
The sports court facilities will enhance the secondary student BTEC International Diploma studies.
