Flamenco dresses honoured in Fuengirola

THREE Fuengirola women will be honoured for their contribution to the town’s annual feria, which starts next Saturday (October 6) until Friday 12. Each year residents are acknowledged for their stalls, dresses or horses.

This year it is for the “beauty and elegance of flamenco dresses,” says Mayor Esperanza Oña. Three women have stood out for their designs of these traditional dresses.

The three women, Josefa Yelamo, Juana Navarrete and Melissa Lozano (pictured), will be honoured at a the Casa de la Cultura Thursday October 4 at 8.30pm.
