INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTAR: Placido Domingo.
PLACIDO DOMINGO’S first Festival in Andalucia is set to take place in Seville and Malaga. After the opening night in Seville on Thursday October 25, the conductor and tenor will present a Gala in Malaga’s Cervantes theatre on Friday 26.
Tenor Vittorio Grigolo, soprano and Grammy award-winner Ana Maria Martínez and guitar player Angel Romero will perform with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Malaga.
On Sunday 28, Cervantes will also host the performances of violinist Pinchas Zukerman and pianist Joaquin Achucarro, also with the Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Edmon Colomer.
Both events were presented on Tuesday by culture councillor Damian Caneda. The festival will continue until Saturday November 3.
