Seniors’ Safety in Almeria

A SENIOR’S safety plan is being carried out in the Almeria Province. The aim is to inform senior citizens about issues that directly affect their safety. Members of a pensioners’ club in Huercal Overa attended a conference last week about issues such as robberies, scams or ill-treatment.

Guardia Civil agents instructed the audience on how to avoid these.  Another aim is to promote trust in security forces and encourage citizens to report offenses. This plan was launched by the Interior Ministry.
