THE restructured Cruz Cubierta park in Beniel road, Orihuela, is planned to be ready to open next Monday. Eighteen jobs were created by the €49,000 ,Councillor of Hamlets Antonia Moreno revealed when visiting the work site.
“This is the first construction included in a budget of €1.1 million that applies to neighbouring villages. This workcost €49,000 out of the budget” she said. The park will be divided into two, with one area for adults and includinga “cholesterol route” designed to help keeping fit, and the otherwith a rubber floo mainly for children.
Moreno said “50 per cent of people in Orihuela who go out for a walk take the Beniel road. This new park may become the finishing point for them.”
