FLOODED: Cars almost submerged in front of Casa Jose Butchers next to the Hotel Provenzal on Mojacar Playa
IN the early hours of this morning (Friday August 31) an incredible storm hit Costa Almeria. After a prolonged dry spell (since April) the water had to dissipate somewhere with disastrous results. The electricity on the whole area was severely affected with Mojacar Pueblo and The Parque Comercial intermittently off until 9am. The pictures speak for themselves, incredible for just a few hours rain.
