ALMERIA exports have grown three times as much as the Spanish average. According to the Economy Council of the Junta de Andalucia, Almeria’s first semester closed with a 10.9 per cent exportation growth, almost tripling the national statistics, which reached 3.4 per cent of growth as of June 2012. The €1,401 million exports have given Almeria the fourth highest exportation statistics in Andalucia, which have been crowned by the province of Huelva with a 36.1 per cent growth rate.
