REINSTATED: Burriana Beach has its blue flag back
Torecilla and Burriana beaches have seen their blue flags reinstated by the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC), after they were recently revoked. The ADEAC have said that the Nerja council have corrected all the faults that were listed within the allotted 10 day limit.
Faults listed included lack of safety equipment, cars parked haphazardly along the beach causing access problems, rubbish overflowing from bins, out of date information on display, a broken PA system, and lack of information on the meaning of warning flags. The flags for El Playazo and Maro beaches have not been reinstated.
