ALTEA, Alfaz del Pi and La Nucia town halls are united their municipal services as a means of cutting costs.
They will be sharing the management of the treasury, culture, infrastructure and sports departments.
This is not the first time that town halls in the Valencia Region have decided to join forces in such a way.
However, this initiative is a bit different as it is three municipalities whose combined population exceeds 60,000 and is more than 100,000 at some times of the year due to the foreign residents who live part of the year there.
