MALLORCA came fifth in a ranking of European Ports, according to data published by the European Cruise Council.
Barcelona came first and Civitavecchia and Venice in Italy came second and third, while El Pireo in Greece came fourth.
Meanwhile, one in four passengers in 2011 chose a Spanish port to start their cruise.
