Father and son confess to killing Moroccan

A FATHER and son have reportedly admitted to killing a Moroccan man.

The incident took place in September 2008 during Santa Pola’s festival when they got involved in a fight with the 26-year-old victim.

After which they went to the Moroccan’s home with an iron bar and a kitchen knife, which they used to hit and stab him with.

A third person was aware of the crime, yet did not report it.

The father and son have been sent to prison provincially, while the third temporarily released on bail until sentence has been passed.

An agreement signed between the prosecutor and the detainee’s defense lawyer means that their sentence should be reduced from 20-years to 10-years for the 40-year-old father and 22-year-old son, and the third person’s sentence reduced to seven years.

The victim’s heirs are to receive €300,000 compensation.
