A NATIONAL POLICE officer has been remanded to prison without bail after appearing before a judge accused in a drugs trafficking case.
He was arrested by Guardia Civil during an operation against drugs sales carried out in Viator (Almeria).
So far, six people have been arrested, also including the legal depositary for Almeria, who is also in prison, and two members of his staff, as well two Lithuanian men.
The arrests took place after a shoot out in which one of the Guardia Civil was shot twice in the leg.
More than 3,500 kilos hashish were seized from a warehouse on Poligono La Juaida. They were loaded on a large lorry.
