Woman dies on fairground ride in Los Barrios

A 33-YEAR-OLD woman died in Los Barrios, Cadiz, after suffering a heart attack while riding on a fairground attraction.

She was on the zig-zag attraction when she suddenly fainted.

All attempts by paramedics to resuscitate her proved to be useless.

Several events planned as part of the fair were suspended and the owners of the fairground attractions ceased their activity for a whole day as a sign of respect.
