The line up for the Manchester City legends tour of Orihuela Costa is taking shape with news that former England goalkeeper Joe Corrigan will be among those footballers taking to the pitch at the new Deportivo in Playa Flamenca on the evening of Saturday 9th June.
Not only that but he will be joining some of his fellow former footballers in a pro-am golf tournament at La Peraleja the following day.
The event gets underway on Thursday 7 June with a gala dinner hosted by Goodfellas restaurant Flamenca Beach who – along with neighbouring bars Legends and The Lansdowne – are acting as prime sponsors for the whole weekend.
Entertainment and special events, including auctions, raffles and autograph signings are planned for all three evenings culminating in the football match which will be preceeded by a youngsters match involving the Junior Strikers against a local youth team starting at 6pm on the Saturday.
Programmes for the football will be available shortly at many venues or if you simply want to play in the golf contact Gavin or Paula at info@albatrossgolftours.com
Proceeds from the weekend will go to charity.
