AN 82 YEAR OLD British woman who has been living in Spain for 37 years is disheartened by the lack of public interest in an art exhibition that she has worked hard to participate in.
Jeanne Millar of Mojacar said that the exhibition in the ELC centre on Mojacar Playa is unintentionally, a very well-kept secret.
Over forty paintings have been on display but she says that hardly anyone has viewed them because of lack of publicity.
She added that many of the paintings are for sale, with prices starting at around €25.
Millar has six paintings in the exhibition.
She said that on May 4, the exhibition curator, Jeremy Fox-Rayner did interesting demonstrations of the steps involved in creating a painting.
The exhibition is still on. For more information about the exhibition, future demonstrations and Friday painting classes, call 653 714 767 or email Jeremy or Evie at info@artshop-spain.
