Son Amar premiere a huge hit!

LAST weekend saw the charity premiere of the new Son Amar show for 2012.

The show, ‘We are the world’ features international dancers, musicians, acrobats and comedians in a veritable feast of live entertainment.

The Son Amar theatre which is just ten minutes north of Palma, has been the venue for top class shows since 1963.

‘We are gearing up to celebrate a very important anniversary next year,’ said show director Ricard Gamez, ‘and this year’s show is the biggest and best one yet!’

The show includes some very special laser and water effects and some very special appearances that literally took the audience’s breath away. ‘I was stunned,’ said audience member Catherine Evans, ‘the acrobats are incredible, and in particular the Peres Brothers were quite amazing.’

The event which was presented to benefit a local island charity, Respiralia, which is changing the way that Cystic Fibrosis is treated across the country and even across Europe.
