The Iron Lady is an intimate portrait of Margaret Thatcher (Meryl Streep), the only female British Prime Minister.
Thatcher came from nowhere to smash through barriers of gender and class to be heard in a male dominated world.
The star of the film is not Thatcher but Streep’s performance which, let’s face it, only those who knew the Iron Lady can say if it’s accurate.
